I was drawn to photography at a young age, and when I look back at some of my early work, I’m reminded that I’ve always been interested in people.
I’ve always enjoyed creating images of people that reflect and transmit emotions, and over the years I’ve developed an intuitive understanding of communication as well as the confidence required to do so.
Throughout my career, I’ve been extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to photograph exceptional people in extraordinary settings.
From photographing the wives of the Rolling Stones for Vanity Fair with Annie Leibovitz to portraiture work for the Saturday Times Magazine, photographing people has been and continues to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
Working at the Coliseum Stadium with Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pelé, was a true career highlight. It was a privilege to work with such a considerate and accomplished human being.
